Pinterest: 4 Invitations to Give Away!!

If you are not already familiar with Pinterest, it is a website that allows you organize websites, posts or pictures visually by pinning them onto boards you create. It is an amazing way to track with things you love, share your ideas and gain inspiration for others who are doing the same.

It is completely addictive and the biggest problem with Pinterest is actually getting off it to execute some of the awesome ideas you have pinned.

There is still currently a waiting list to join, but I have 4 invitations to give away. If you are already on Pinterest, please follow me by clicking on the tab to the right.

The first 4 to comment on this post will be given invitations to join. Good Luck!!

All That Glitters is Gold::Leslie Hall

I was first turned on to Leslie Hall from an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba. The attraction was instant, I mean look at her. How could you now be drawn in by that hair, those gold pants and those gem sweaters! Musician, entertainer and curator of the Mobile Museum of Gem Sweaters. What is not to love. Check her out. Now.

Heather Bailey

I am not sure how I have made it this far in my art and craft filled life not to have known about Heather Bailey. It’s almost embarrassing. Any one of Heather’s sites is pure fun and totally falls into the category of eye candy. Her bright floral  prints and adorable patterns are enough to brighten even your darkest day!

I am currently working on the Pinwheel tutorial:

Finally getting up to speed, My itouch.

I am often a little behind the times. At this point in my life, I have to chalk it up to age. Although I still feel like a teenager, the truth is that 40 is approaching a lot quicker than I would like. Yes, 40.

This year, my husband bought me an itouch. I love that I can actually access my email AND the internet like the rest of the world. I finally feel cool, until I realize that my nephew also got one for his 12th birthday. Whatever.

In my attempt to try an personalize it, I stumbled across Totally Severe. Sarah offers the best selection of wallpapers, fonts and itouch/iphone backgrounds around. Here’s my selection, go get your own.

What Clogs up my Inbox –

Every now and again I (try to) go through the emails in my inbox in order to make it a more managable size. I have always been a well organized keeper of sketch books with drawing and pieces of paper from magazines or other literature that I use for inspiration. I am noticing more and more that my inbox is quickly becoming my virtual sketchbook. What is is mostly filled with? newsletters. Check them out. I don’t think I have ever gotten a Whip Up Newsletter that didn’t have a project (or a few) that I didn’t think was awesome.

Mike Ciccotello

Growing up, Mike Ciccotello was one of those kids that every knew had talent. This was not something that was taught to Mike, but something that he must have been born with. Many years later, it is so interesting to see how his art has evolved. I love the urban and graphic feel of his paintings. One of his paintings was also featured on the back of a Liquitex Easel Set box.  Mike has recently launched a new website showcases his painting and illustartions. Check it out.

Wooed Over – Howie Woo

I can’t get enough of Howie Woo. I am just not sure when it gets to the point of stalking.

Crochet Hero – Crochet Spot

Nobody lays it out better than Rachel. Her blog is easy to read and her tutorials are phenomenal. If you run your mouse over the pictures, they switch from righties to lefties!

Website – Crafting a Green World

I love this website for learning about alternative uses for items or finding new crafts for my kids.
